Co-curators Frank Juarez and Melissa Dorn Richards are at it again. They began their journey doing a series of studio visits from December 2017 through February 2018.
INDIANA GREEN is an annual group exhibition featuring 2D and 3D works by artists living and working in Wisconsin. This exhibition introduces a diverse body of work by artists ranging from such as but not limited to: paintings to mixed media, sculpture to printmaking, installation to photography, and video to drawings. This exhibition features works that are meaningful and significant today.. In its upcoming 9th season they will be working with the following artists: Lois Bielefeld (Milwaukee), Kendra Bulgrin (Algoma), Michael Davidson (Milwaukee), Jaymee Harvey Willms (Milwaukee), Trent Miller (Madison), Nirmal Raja (Milwaukee), Jeff Redmon (Milwaukee), LaNia Sproles (Milwaukee), and Lisa Wicka (Marinette). This exhibition will be hosted by Parts Unknown Studio in Walker's Point in Milwaukee early summer 2018.
These studio visits provide us the opportunity to get to know these artists, listen to their creative process, successes and challenges, provide encouragement to pursue ideas, and to exhibit new works.
Today we introduce you to Trent Miller, Jeff Redmon, and Jaymee Harvey Willms.
Trent Miller is an artist living in Madison, Wisconsin. Miller’s work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows throughout the United States. Recent exhibitions include A Tiny Rivulet in the Distant Forest at ArtStart (Rhinelander, WI), Meet Me At The End Of The World at Tory Folliard Gallery (Milwaukee, WI), Spindrift and Tether at James Watrous Gallery (Madison, WI), and a drawing retrospective I & They at Backspace Gallery (Peoria, IL). In addition to showing his own work, Miller curates exhibitions and runs The Bubbler at Madison Public Library, an arts incubator program in Madison, WI.
Jeff Redmon is a Milwaukee based artist, designer, curator and community arts organizer who holds a BFA from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Redmon is currently the Exhibition and Residency Manager at RedLine Milwaukee, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, an urban laboratory that seeks to nourish the individual practice of contemporary art and to stimulate the creative potential of the local community to which we are linked.
A practicing artist for over 15 years, Redmon continues to perfect his unique style of abstract art making. He has also created several public and private large scale murals throughout the Milwaukee area.

Jaymee Harvey Willms
Jaymee Harvey Willms is an artist living and working in the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin. She was born and raised in Maplewood, Minnesota. From there she moved to South Dakota where she received her BFA in painting and art history from the University of South Dakota. In 2015 she went on to graduate from SUNY Albany with her MFA in sculpture. She has had international residencies, shows her work across the United States, and continues to make work in her studio in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.
